Maui Wowi back on the set of "What's Your Number?"

It's always an honor to get called back again. This is our 5th time serving on the latest movie being filmed in Boston, "What's Your Number?", starring Anna Faris and Chris Evans. This time, we find ourselves on Boston's Long Wharf where they were filming the scene of Chris and Anna diving into the Harbor! We served up strawberry-banana, pina colada, mango-orange and mocha chills to the cast and crew and it was a great time, as always! Maui Wowi loves going Hollywood! We were also able to take some cool pics of the Tiki Hut combined with the Boston Skyline. We think it should just be a permanent fixture on the Boston Skyline! Quincy College says Maui Wowi Hawaiian Smoothies are "The Shizzle"!

Aloha! Quincy College in Quincy, MA had Maui Wowi back on campus for their annual Spring Fling Event, being held in the Student Lounge. Students were also treated to caricatures and temporary tattoos. So, while they were waiting in line to get their picture drawn, or to "Get Some Ink" on their body, they were able to grab a all-natural non-fat smoothie. We served up Black Raspberry, Strawberry-Banana and Passion Papaya to all the lucky students who showed up between 10am and 1pm. Everyone had a blast as always! Mahalo to Kathi and Quincy College for once again bringing us in!

P.S. We were also greeted by 2 special guests from KrazedRecords, Krazed and JG! You can see them in the pics above (guess which ones they were). These were two of the coolest cats we've had stop by the Tiki Hut and I promised them I'd give them a shout-out on the Blog. Maui Wowi: The Drink of Olympians!

If you needed any more proof of how healthy and delicious our smoothies are, just ask Olympic Runner, Josh McAdams! NBC News caught him and his wife enjoying a Maui Wowi Smoothie recently. Looks like Pina Colda! Yum!

Maui Wowi on the set of "The Surrogates"

Maui Wowi went back to Hollywood again to serve smoothies and our "Chillin'" Blended Kona Coffee to the cast and crew of the new Sci-Fi Movie, "The Surrogates", starring Bruce Willis and Ving Rhames and being filmed here in Boston. We set up right on the set while they were filming practically in front of us! You know you are really on the set, when you have to stop blending smoothies so they can film the movie! We were able to meet some very interesting people and had a great time! The cast and crew enjoyed Mango Orange, Strawberry-Banana and Pina Colada Smoothies, along with our Chocolate Chunk Chillin' Blended Kona Coffees. Mahalo to the cast and crew!

Maui Wowi goes Hollywood!!

On Thursday, May 29th we had the pleasure of serving our smoothies, Kona Coffee, and Mocha Chill frappucinnos to the cast and crew of the upcoming Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds movie, "The Proposal". The movie, being filmed in Danvers, MA was looking for a way to thank the cast and crew for their hard work over the past few months. Todd Lieberman, the Producer of the film had frozen cappuccinos in mind. When his assistant, Jared, went out to search for a frozen cappuccino vendor, he came across Maui Wowi and immediately thought it would be an even better idea for the cast and crew. After deciding on the flavors (he went with strawberry-banana, cappuccino, pina colada, kona coffee, and Mocha Chill) we set up for over 2 hours right on the set. We had a ton of fun hanging out with everyone from both the cast and crew. They loved the drinks and the Mocha Chill was a huge hit!! Sandra Bullock had her assistant come back for another one she liked it so much! How cool is that? Better still, the next morning, I was reading the Boston Herald, as I do every morning, and began reading The Inside Track article. This very well known article keeps everyone abreast of the celebrity sightings in and around Boston and all the celebrity gossip. Well, how excited do you think we were to find Maui Wowi in the article!?! It was a small paragraph, but a sure sign of things to come and that Maui Wowi has arrived in Boston and is here to stay. Hopefully this is the first of many articles people will be reading about us serving our all-natural hawaiian smoothies at events.
